February Mandalas

I covered some of my January book covers with scrapbook paper so that I could draw mandalas on them.

I created this mandala during the down-times working my Stampin'Up! booth at Teacher's Convention.

I love this spread because I glued a musical paper napkin onto two different pages in my big Paper Bag Book.  The black border with the stamped writing is the underlying page.  When I did the Mandala I changed ink colours as I moved from the lighter page to the dark.

Not all mandalas have to start in the middle of the page - going from the corner can be fun too.
